Images From the Rev's Coffee House Book Signing - 3-19-2011

What a great day Saturday was! First of all, the weather couldn't have been more beautiful. The atmosphere couldn't possibly have been more fun and relaxed than it was at Rev's Coffee House in High Point, NC. Friends, new friends and Rev, with his incredibly good coffee and baked goods, made it perfect. My 15 year old son, Benjamin, ate all of Rev's double chocolate muffins!

Denise, Danny's wife, was the warm and elegant hostess, soliciting smiles and laughter from guests during the book signing. This was Danny's first such event, and it went so very well - beyond expectations! Danny sold many physical signed copies, as well as taking quite a few back orders. I can't wait for the next one!

10-17-10....Congratulations to Danny Roberts! The manuscript for his first book - tentatively titled "Spittin' at Cats and Other Selfish Acts" has been accepted by the publisher. As a result, there will be many changes to Driving the Short Bus in the coming weeks. Danny will offer certain material here for public consumption and his blog will actually BE a blog, as opposed to a listing of his humorous stories. We're in the process of doing some logo work, as well as creating a new line of Bus Rider gear and apparel. We've also got some video comedy up our sleeve, as well as other content. So hold tight - it's gonna be a fun ride!

Testimony:

I work with Danny and have always enjoyed his humor there. He's just got a way with words. When I finally got my first taste of his writing, Sorta Like English, Yet Better,  I was blown away! I was sitting in my living room, laughing out loud and virtually crying! My wife, Crystal, who was on the couch nearby, stopped what she was doing and had me read the article out loud. It's the best laugh we've had together in quite a while! I look forward to each and every story Danny has to share!
